Her first action was an internet search for a leakproof, water tight version, but found it didn’t exist. When she saw there was a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website page for swim diapers and swim pants which stated, “…swim diapers do not keep these germs from contaminating the water. No manufacturers claim these products prevent leakage of diarrhea into pools.” She decided to create something. With her in-born entrepreneurial spirit, and a vision to reduce infant-prone pool contaminations, she started with two solo cups and some plaster to create the first prototype of what would become TrustyTrunks.
On the road to promoting cleaner, safer recreational water, we save kids and their parents from embarrassing contamination accidents, and keep the pool open. Test production runs are currently underway, we anticipate product available for sale in December, 2019.
